Looking Back at My Last Two Gallery Reading Events

I’ve been sitting with the memories of the last two gallery readings I did, and wow… they were both so different but equally powerful. In these group events, I channel messages from deceased loved ones and spirit guides. Every time I do this work, I learn something new—about Spirit, my connection to them, and the connection we all share in that space together.
No two events ever feel the same. Sometimes the energy is deeply spiritual and quiet, other times it’s electric and buzzing.
The First Event – Calm, Deep, and Soulful
The event I had last Friday had such a serene, almost otherworldly vibe. The space was set apart from the rest of the metaphysical shop by a curtain, so it felt like we stepped into our own little world.
When a gallery reading starts, there’s this strange, beautiful sensation—like time doesn’t exist. We’re somewhere else entirely, in a bubble outside of everyday reality.
The messages from Spirit that night came through in such vivid detail. I could feel the emotions they carried when they were here in this world:
That restless search for peace in the middle of chaos
The quiet joy of solitude while building a dam in a pond
The aching, persistent heartbreak that never fully left after losing someone they loved
The room was so still. Everyone was really taking it in. Some were in awe, realizing they’re still connected to their loved ones. Others felt deeply seen by their spirit guides—especially when I shared things that were so personal, only they would understand.
What stayed with me most from that night is this: Our loved ones aren’t far away. They speak to us from the inside. A spark of them stays with us, always, and it’s always accessible.
The Second Event – Loud, Playful, and Wildly Fun
The second event was the complete opposite energy—playful, vibrant, and hilarious. The spirits were as lively as the people in the room. Some loved ones came in loud, bossy, and totally unapologetic—but all with love. I couldn’t help but enjoy it.
The spirit guides came through with some very creative, symbolic messages. They don’t always show themselves as they truly are—they show what they need to in order to get the message across. At one point, a guide showed me the “chest popper” scene from the movie Alien to describe the pain of holding everything in until it finally explodes. Dramatic? Yes. Effective? Absolutely.
Sometimes I swear they like to mess with me a little—seeing how far I’ll go, how much I’ll trust, and if I can laugh at myself while delivering something that intense. Honestly, if I were a spirit guide, I’d probably do the same thing.
Every Person There Was Meant to Be There
That second event had a mix—people who’d been to many readings and a few who were clearly skeptical. But I believe everyone who walks through the door is meant to be there.
Even if they never come back, their loved ones and guides have planted something—a seed that might make life feel a little lighter. Maybe it helps them let go of some grief. Maybe it’s a reminder to show themselves compassion. Maybe it’s just the comfort of feeling seen. Whatever it is, it makes this journey a little richer.
If you feel called to experience a gallery reading yourself, keep an eye out for my next event announcement. You never know what messages Spirit might have for you.
